Welcome to The Palms of Destin Resort, where "The Lookout" has the perfect view for you!!! This 9th floor unit provides the perfect getaway with all of the amenities you need. The pool is just a short elevator ride away, making it easy to go back and forth to your room without having to walk far to the elevator. You can let your kids hang out at the pool while you lounge on your private balcony overlooking the pool. This resort has a lot to offer: you’ll find the restaurant "The Palms Bistro" in the main area, a coffeehouse, a bar, a gym, a hot tub, a big lagoon-style pool (not heated) with plenty of room to wade around with your friends, and a smaller heated pool. The common area patio allows you to hang out and meet other guests from all around the country and across the globe. Just inside, there are plenty of TV’s and a bar to enjoy the sport of your choosing. The kiddy pool is a lot of fun for the little ones and helps you to wear them out before you put them down for the night. If you wish to spend your time on the beach, you can catch the resort shuttle straight to beach access where you can enjoy the blue waters and white powdery sands of Destin. Your entire vacation can be spent within the resort with plenty to do, or you can venture out into Destin, which has even more to offer. In this junior suite, you are centrally located between all of the nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment in Destin. The Track in Destin is just a short walk away where you can enjoy 2 putt-putt golf courses, go karts, rides, and more. Just across the street there is a sports complex if you want to play catch or hit the ball around. Further down the road you’ll find The Big Kahuna water park with water slides and a river float. If you are feeling adventurous you can visit any of the many boat rental shops and take a trip out to Crab Island. During the summer season Crab Island is the place to be! There are a few golf courses in Destin as well, so if you like to hit the links, then you are in the right spot. We all like to eat and there are a lot of options to choose from, whether it is high end at Ruth’s Chris or just a quick bite from Burrito Del Sol. If you just want to get away to relax, then this condo is the perfect place for you. The condo is spacious and is stylish with a great view. This 2 bedroom suite features a master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath. The guest room features a king size bed and a full bathroom just outside of the bedroom. The living area features a full size pull out sofa that accommodates 2 more guests. This unit is a 6 guest max occupancy, so you and your family or 5 of your closest friends can come enjoy the beach life to get away from the daily grind. Access

Finding the Palms is a breeze. You can't missed it from Hwy 98. Simply turn north onto Indian Bayou Trail from Hwy 98 and it will be on your right. Take the right at The Palms of Destin sign and unload at the front. The tower at the entrance to the resort will be where you are staying. All parking is in the garage. Please to not park in designated parking or in restaurant parking. Check-in at the front desk to receive your wristbands, parking pass, and resort codes. Unit entry code will be issued by management.

Interaction With Guests

My interaction is primarily via text, email, and phone. In the event of an emergency I will be there promptly to take care of any critical issues.

Neighborhood

Destin is a safe area as well as the The Palms of Destin. The resort has new state of the art surveillance to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and to protect the property. Cameras are located on each floor and at all entrances around the resort.

Transit

Uber, Lyft, Golf Cart, bicycles, and walking are all options. Use an app for Uber or Lyft. Golf Carts and bicycles may be rented, a search engine is your friend when searching for what fits your needs best. There are a few attractions and stores within walking distance, but it is highly recommended to find vehicle transportation outside of a half mile radius of the resort.

House Rules

- MUST BE 25 years of age. Valid ID will be required to check-in. - A rental agreement will be sent at confirmation, the agreement must be signed at booking confirmation to receive an access code for the unit. - No 3rd Party Booking. - 6 guests maximum (regardless of age), no exceptions. - All adult guests must be listed prior to making a reservation. - A limited amount of expendable items are provided to get you started. - Beach towels/ Bath Towels/ Linens are provided by the unit, not the resort. Please do not take bath towels or linens outside of the unit. - Guest will be responsible for any lost/ damaged/ stolen/ missing items. Please remember to bring the beach towels back to the unit. - Be respectful of all neighbors / property. - Checkout instructions are several steps to ensure there is a smooth transition between guests. They are listed in the rental agreement and in the unit.

The place was clean , nice location nice view, but we run into some problems during the stay from the first day we checked in , we noticed some bugs on the counter top and turns out there was cockroach running around and there was not even food on the counter top . I call the owner he was very helpful he come the same day i text him and he spray all over the oven and the refrigerator, the next day we saw dead cockroach all over the kitchen the living room witch was normal as the owner said . But after few days we saw them again on the floor on the trash can , over the think with all the seasoning in them. Our stay was almost finished and i text the owner again telling him that we saw them again and there is definitely i lot of bugs out there . However we did not get any respond from him . Not sure where they coming from but that kinda make me stress about all the time not to leave any food on the counter top chech the kabinets all the time wash the dishes before i use them . I wish they prevent that before renting the place . Other then that the stay was ok .

Upon arriving to the Palms of Destin, we were greeted by great front desk staff who explained parking and how to get to our condo. Parked in parking garage which wasn’t but a short walk to the room but a plus they have little carts to bring all your belongings! We stayed on the 9th floor so it over looked the pool/spa which was absolutely breathe taking, the balcony had panoramic views- you can literally be sitting in the bedroom and seen a beautiful view. Nice 2 Bedroom, 2Bathroom condo in a resort. My favorite part of the house was probably the kitchen. Although we didn’t cook at all in it it was still beautiful and had everything you needed if you were to cook. I also enjoyed the bar downstairs. The whole weekend 9pm-2am the bar was open and they had music playing and people enjoying themselves. It was even nice to grab a drink go back to the room then come back down for more when needed bc it was only a short distance. I definitely do recommend this place it was def as nice as the listing!

What an amazing experience and a special condo! The kid loved the pools and we loved having access to an amazing coffee shop and bar and restaurant! The views from the deck are incredible, The decor is amazing, the kitchen was my favorite, the beds are comfortable it’s just really well designed and decorated.

Destin and this condo is a must stay!!! The host was prompt and attentive regarding a question I had pertaining to Hurricane Ian. The condo is perfect and has everything you would need. For two adults the space was perfect. We each occupied each bedroom. The condo is clean and comfortable. There is beach equipment as described and that was extremely helpful. The large comfortable balcony over looks the complex pool and the beach in the distance. The kitchen and living room area are perfect. We spent an evening watching a movie on the large living room TV. Although we did not cook or bake anything in the kitchen, we did use the microwave and the coffeemaker which were both clean and properly working. The complex also has everything you would need. The parking is a covered garage and close to the unit's tower. There is a restaurant, coffee shop and a bar adjacent to the pool area. Although the beach is within walking distance, we chose to take a car. If you are from the West Coast and are use to our beaches, wait until you see Destin's beaches, Gorgeous!!! I can not wait to return and would absolutely, without hesitation, stay at this beautiful clean and accommodating condo again.

Wonderful, clean and comfortable condo with everything you would need for the comforts of home, or going to the beach. The unit is quiet and being on a higher floor, the view is really nice. The patio area is wonderful to sit on and enjoy the shade through the afternoon. The complex also has all the amenities (gym, pickleball court, tennis courts, equipment, and huge pool area ) and restaurant if you don't feel like cooking. Highly recommend!
