Gated Community of Destiny West features a Pool, Hot Tub, Tennis Court, BasketBall Court, Sauna, and easy beach access. This meticulously and elegantly decorated home has everything you need to make feel like you are right at home. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you will need to cook your favorite dinner. The open living area allows you to be connected no matter where you sit or what you are doing. If you want a little alone time, pick one of the three nicely sized bedroom to lay down, read a book, or enjoy your favorite movie on the TV. In the back, there is a nice patio area to enjoy the Florida air or to grill your favorite meal. Las Tortugas is the perfect place for you and your family to have the perfect vacation. Furry friends, unfortunately are NOT permitted on property and sometimes it is nice for them to get a vacation away from their owners too. We understand that it is tough to give them space, but we want to make sure that we provide a home that is as clean and allergen free as possible. In addition, the home has a driveway that only accommodates 2 cars and unfortunately on street parking is not permitted via the HOA. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $5,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. More information can be found from the "Additional rules" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Neighborhood

Destiny West is a small gated community that features shared amenities, such as, pool, hot tub, sauna, and tennis courts. This community is just across the street from the beautiful white sands and blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Emerald Coast boast the most gorgeous water in the United States and is definitely a must see when visiting Destin. The Crab Shack is also conveniently located just outside of the community and is a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy the sunsets over the gulf.

Transit

You can easily get around by walking to the beach, restaurant, and shared amenities. If you want to explore Destin, driving would be your best bet. You can also rent a golf cart or bikes during your stay.

House Rules

- MUST BE 25 years of age. Valid ID will be required to check-in. - A rental agreement will be sent at confirmation, the agreement must be signed at booking confirmation to receive an access code for the unit. - No 3rd Party Booking. - 8 guests maximum (regardless of age), no exceptions. - All adult guests must be listed prior to making a reservation. - A limited amount of expendable items are provided to get you started. - Beach towels/ Bath Towels/ Linens are provided by the unit, not the resort. Please do not take bath towels or linens outside of the unit. - Guest will be responsible for any lost/ damaged/ stolen/ missing items. Please remember to bring the beach towels back to the unit. - Be respectful of all neighbors / property. - Checkout instructions are several steps to ensure there is a smooth transition between guests. They are listed in the rental agreement and in the unit.

Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood with a short walk to public beach access. Layout of the house was perfect for our family of 4. Heated pool and hot tub were amazingly maintained and will make you want to move to the neighborhood. Any restaurant or shop you could ever want is within 15 minutes of you while staying here but it won’t feel that way in this gated community oasis. There were some minor issues with the house. Blinds that don’t work, dirty pots and pans, gas grill in rough shape, outdoor furniture had mildew and staining, and moldy smell in laundry room from washer that needed cleaning. Overall those things were minor and the stay was great. I would still highly recommend to families based on top tier neighborhood amenities and proximity to beach access.

Perfect location, private and quite gated community. Great for families. Right on the best beach in Destin and Miramar. House odd perfect size, plenty of room and each room have comfortable king size beds. Will come back and visit other locations from this owner.

We had an amazing vacation at this property. It had everything we needed and more. The house is very pretty and looks just like the pictures. Bedrooms are large with plenty of space. Beds are comfortable and all kind size. The location and neighborhood was lovely. Quick walk to the pool and beach (beach parking was always available). Short drive to restaurants, malls, and attractions.
