Welcome to The Palms of Destin Resort, where Fun In The Sun is the name of the game!!! This first floor unit provides the perfect getaway with easy access to all of the amenities that the resort has to offer. Having Fun In The Sun couldn’t be easier while staying in this junior suite. The pool is just steps from the door, making it easy to go back and forth to your room without waiting on an elevator or trekking up and down stairs. You can let your kids hang out at the pool while you lounge on your private shaded patio - close enough for comfort but you still get to have some quiet time! This resort has a lot to offer: you’ll find the restaurant Prim’d in the main area, several gyms, a hot tub, and a big lagoon-style pool with plenty of room to wade around with your friends. The common area patio allows you to hang out and meet other guests from all around the country and across the globe. Just inside, there are plenty of TV’s and a bar to enjoy the sport of your choosing. The kiddy pool is a lot of fun for the little ones and helps you to wear them out before you put them down for the night. If you wish to spend your time on the beach, you can catch the hotel shuttle straight to beach access where you can enjoy the blue waters and white powdery sands of Destin. Your entire vacation can be spent within the resort with plenty to do, or you can venture out into Destin, which has even more to offer. In this junior suite, you are centrally located between all of the nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment in Destin. The Track in Destin is just a short walk away where you can enjoy 2 putt-putt golf courses, go karts, rides, and more. Just across the street there is a sports complex if you want to play catch or hit the ball around. Further down the road you’ll find The Big Kahuna water park with water slides and a river float. If you are feeling adventurous you can visit any of the many boat rental shops and take a trip out to Crab Island. During the summer season Crab Island is the place to be! There are a few golf courses in Destin as well, so if you like to hit the links, then you are in the right spot. We all like to eat and there are a lot of options to choose from, whether it is high end at Ruth’s Chris or just a quick bite from Burrito Del Sol. If you just want to get away to relax, then this condo is the perfect place for you. The condo is spacious with high ceilings and is stylish, while making you feel like you are right at home. This junior suite features a master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath. The additional room features full size bunk beds and a full bathroom as well. The living area features a queen size pull out sofa that accommodates 2 more guests. This unit is a 6 guest max occupancy, so you and your family or 5 of your closest friends can come enjoy the beach life to get away from the daily grind. You have access to all of the resort amenities; pool, hot tub, gym, and restaurant.

Interaction With Guests

My interaction is primarily via text, email, and phone. In the event of an emergency I will be there promptly to take care of any critical issues.

Neighborhood

The Resort is a safe place to visit, as well as, the city of Destin. You are located in a central location to everything and you can get anywhere with ease.

Transit

You can drive anywhere with ease, but if you don’t wish to do so there are other options. UBer, Lyft, and city taxi are available at your request via apps and phone. If you have a bike you can ride those around as well and walking is always an option as well. The resort shuttle will take you to and from the beach access (between March-October).

House Rules

- MUST BE 25 years of age. Valid ID will be required to check-in. - A rental agreement will be sent at confirmation, the agreement must be signed at booking confirmation to receive an access code for the unit. - No 3rd Party Booking. - 6 guests maximum (regardless of age), no exceptions. - All adult guests must be listed prior to making a reservation. - A limited amount of expendable items are provided to get you started. - Beach towels/ Bath Towels/ Linens are provided by the unit, not the resort. Please do not take bath towels or linens outside of the unit. - Guest will be responsible for any lost/ damaged/ stolen/ missing items. Please remember to bring the beach towels back to the unit. - Be respectful of all neighbors / property. - Checkout instructions are several steps to ensure there is a smooth transition between guests. They are listed in the rental agreement and in the unit.

Was a great spot for our family! The condo was perfect & had everything we needed/wanted to have a great beach trip. Beach Towels, beach chairs, beach toys - you name it! Plus fun games for inside as well. The pools were a big hit with the kids and the Good Vibes Coffee Shop is ADORABLE & has delicious coffee & pastries It was a Great Stay!!!

I absolutely LOVE this Airbnb! I’ve stayed at a few others before but this one was by far the BEST I’ve ever stayed at. If I could stay there again whenever I’m back in the area I definitely would! The host literally had everything we needed. Everything was clean, organized and comfortable. I wasn’t that pleased with the way the parking areas were a good distance from the units so it sucked trying to unload our belongings but that wasn’t the host’s fault. The pool areas were very lovely & my son enjoyed it. If you’re debating on booking this Airbnb I’m telling you to BOOK IT NOW!

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. We traveled in a group with four adults. There is a king suite and a second, smaller room has a full bunk bed with an attached bath. This worked totally fine for us, but could see it as a downside for some. Otherwise, the rental has everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Pots/pans, a whole rack of spices. Enough amenities for a few days for sure. As an FYI you do have to cross a fairly busy road to get to the beach. I was worried, but this was totally doable on foot as it does have a cross walk. There is a shuttle as well- it’s a $2 fee/ person there and back for the state park and while it was nice to get there by shuttle it was difficult to get a ride back and we ended up walking back instead. The public beach access gets VERY busy, but we found it worth it to walk to Henderson Beach (state park) instead. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. This area is incredibly family oriented and has lots to do besides the beach if that’s not your cup of tea.

We had a wonderful stay at unit 2111 which is located on the 1st floor. The location was great!! There were restaurants, Walmart, etc nearby. Aaron was accommodating, and he was always available for any questions I may have. The unit looks exactly like the pictures. I would recommend staying here.
