Welcome to The Palms of Destin Resort, where Fun In The Sun is the name of the game!!! This first floor unit provides the perfect getaway with easy access to all of the amenities that the resort has to offer. Having Fun In The Sun couldn’t be easier while staying in this junior suite. The pool is just steps from the door, making it easy to go back and forth to your room without waiting on an elevator or trekking up and down stairs. You can let your kids hang out at the pool while you lounge on your private shaded patio - close enough for comfort but you still get to have some quiet time! This resort has a lot to offer: you’ll find the restaurant Prim’d in the main area, several gyms, a hot tub, and a big lagoon-style pool with plenty of room to wade around with your friends. The common area patio allows you to hang out and meet other guests from all around the country and across the globe. Just inside, there are plenty of TV’s and a bar to enjoy the sport of your choosing. The kiddy pool is a lot of fun for the little ones and helps you to wear them out before you put them down for the night. If you wish to spend your time on the beach, you can catch the hotel shuttle straight to beach access where you can enjoy the blue waters and white powdery sands of Destin. Your entire vacation can be spent within the resort with plenty to do, or you can venture out into Destin, which has even more to offer. In this junior suite, you are centrally located between all of the nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment in Destin. The Track in Destin is just a short walk away where you can enjoy 2 putt-putt golf courses, go karts, rides, and more. Just across the street there is a sports complex if you want to play catch or hit the ball around. Further down the road you’ll find The Big Kahuna water park with water slides and a river float. If you are feeling adventurous you can visit any of the many boat rental shops and take a trip out to Crab Island. During the summer season Crab Island is the place to be! There are a few golf courses in Destin as well, so if you like to hit the links, then you are in the right spot. We all like to eat and there are a lot of options to choose from, whether it is high end at Ruth’s Chris or just a quick bite from Burrito Del Sol. If you just want to get away to relax, then this condo is the perfect place for you. The condo is spacious with high ceilings and is stylish, while making you feel like you are right at home. This junior suite features a master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath. The additional room features full size bunk beds and a full bathroom as well. The living area features a queen size pull out sofa that accommodates 2 more guests. This unit is a 6 guest max occupancy, so you and your family or 5 of your closest friends can come enjoy the beach life to get away from the daily grind. You have access to all of the resort amenities; pool, hot tub, gym, and restaurant.

Interaction With Guests

My interaction is primarily via text, email, and phone. In the event of an emergency I will be there promptly to take care of any critical issues.

Neighborhood

The Resort is a safe place to visit, as well as, the city of Destin. You are located in a central location to everything and you can get anywhere with ease.

Transit

You can drive anywhere with ease, but if you don’t wish to do so there are other options. UBer, Lyft, and city taxi are available at your request via apps and phone. If you have a bike you can ride those around as well and walking is always an option as well. The resort shuttle will take you to and from the beach access (between March-October).

House Rules

- MUST BE 25 years of age. Valid ID will be required to check-in. - A rental agreement will be sent at confirmation, the agreement must be signed at booking confirmation to receive an access code for the unit. - No 3rd Party Booking. - 6 guests maximum (regardless of age), no exceptions. - All adult guests must be listed prior to making a reservation. - A limited amount of expendable items are provided to get you started. - Beach towels/ Bath Towels/ Linens are provided by the unit, not the resort. Please do not take bath towels or linens outside of the unit. - Guest will be responsible for any lost/ damaged/ stolen/ missing items. Please remember to bring the beach towels back to the unit. - Be respectful of all neighbors / property. - Checkout instructions are several steps to ensure there is a smooth transition between guests. They are listed in the rental agreement and in the unit.

Fantastic location! You are right in the middle of Destin without all the distraction. Aaron's unit is ground floor, right by the pool... another big win! The pool area is great and you can BYOB. I thought the restaurant at the Palms was average at best. However, having stayed several times further West at Miramar Beach, I loved this location being so much closer to the Wharf and the hidden treasure of Henderson Beach! Henderson Beach is 2 minutes down the road, $6 family admission and tons of room and parking.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Aaron was an excellent host and the condo was beautifully furnished. The pool at the resort was really nice and the beach was right across the street. All in all we had a great vacation.

Aaron's condo was just perfect for our family vacation. We LOVED being on the first floor (no waiting for the elevator!), and the location was just perfect—so close to the beach and restaurants. The condo is clean and comfortable, and Aaron is a fantastic host. We're planning to book again next year!

Aaron is a great host. His property is exactly as described. The palms of Destin was a fabulous property and my family absolutely loved the pool and bistro. The condo is beautifully decorated and has the feeling of being at home. We will definitely stay at one of Aaron's properties again!

The condo is perfect for families. The beach is right across the street and the pools at the resort are awesome! They do offer a shuttle to the beach farther down but we just drove to the public one right across and was much easier for us with little ones. The condo was beautiful, very clean and the softest mattress. I would highly recommend this unit. And the host was in contact checking on us he was great.

This was a family trip to Destin, we liked the location of this condo, it was close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. We used to go to east jetty for fishing and beach, so we used our car, but there's a beach that's walking distance from the condo, just across the street. The pool was a really great, resort style pool, that is well maintained, and there's also a large hot tub. Condo is stylish and well furnished, and all utensils at are usually needed are available. Aaron was very responsive and helpful.
